Our Wing
meets monthly generally on the second Sunday each month at 1300 hours in our
hanger behind the FBO at the Moore County Airport, NC (KSOP). This is also where
our aircraft is based and maintained. During the summer months (also known as
the air show season) we vary our Wing meetings to be at the air shows. If the
second weekend has the aircraft and/or PX trailer on the road, we will generally
hold the monthly Wing meeting at the air show site at the PX trailer. AS our
schedule firms up, it will be posted on this page, below, and will specify the
date, time and location where we will host our formal meetings. The airshow
entries in the calendar are other events that we will participate in with our
Reliant, PX trailer, or both.
When you see us on the road, at an air
show, or at our home base, Moore County, NC, please say hello and chat for a
while. We are always looking for new members to help take care of the aircraft
and preserve a part of living history. The CAF Carolinas Wing is a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the aircraft and history
of World War II aviation. We exist and maintain our historical aircraft on your
